FiveThirtyEight has a new podcast out called What’s the Point. It’s an interesting weekly podcast that all data nerds should listen to. I especially liked the episode on using an experiment and the resulting data to improve traffic flows in NYC by closing streets, creating bike lanes, etc. It’s an interesting 30 mins with a great quote:
“Forget about the data. Forget about the project — that we’d closed Times Square to cars. The only thing people could talk about was the beach chairs.”
